TPMS Calibration: Procedure

NOTE: 

The calibration check process gets interrupted if the vehicle moves. Do the troubleshooting if the indicator does not go off after 2 seconds, keeps blinking or stays on when the vehicle is in the ON mode.

  1. TPMS - Calibrate

    With display audio type 

    1. Make sure the tires are inflated to the specified tire pressure listed on the doorjamb label.

    2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

    NOTE:  Vehicle must be stopped with the transmission in P or N position/mode.

    3. Select the HOME button on the screen (A).

    4. Select the SETTINGS.

    5. Select the VEHICLE.

    6. Select the TPMS CALIBRATION.

    7. Select the CALIBRATE.

    8. When the calibration successfully begins, "Calibration Started" is displayed on the screen when the system received the calibration.

    NOTE:  If the calibration does not begin successfully, "Unable to initialize TPMS" is displayed on the screen and do the TPMS symptom troubleshooting .

    With color audio type 

    1. Make sure the tires are inflated to the specified tire pressure listed on the doorjamb label.

    2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

    NOTE:  Vehicle must be stopped with the transmission in P or N position/mode.

    3. Press the HOME button (A) on the audio remote-HFL switch.

    4. Roll the left selector wheel (B) to select VEHICLE SETTINGS and the press the left selector wheel.

    5. Roll the left selector wheel to select TPMS CALIBRATION and the press the left selector wheel.

    6. Press the left selector wheel to select CALIBRATE.

    7. When the calibration successfully begins, "Calibration Started" is displayed on Multi-information display (C) when the system received the calibration.

    NOTE:  If the calibration does not begin successfully, "Calibration Failed to Start" is displayed on Multi-information display and do the TPMS symptom troubleshooting .
