Diagnostic procedure

• Check the fuel pressure FUEL PRESSURE TEST .
• Check the air cleaner element AIR CLEANER ELEMENT/AIR CLEANER/INTAKE AIR RESONATOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Also check for

• Low compression
• Incorrect camshaft timing
• Incorrect engine oil level
• Exhaust restriction
• Fuel contamination
