DTC P05AF: General Description
The shutter grille system opens/closes the shutter depending on the driving conditions. The system improves fuel efficiency by reducing the wind drag. The shutter is controlled by the shutter grille which integrates the actuator with CPU. The powertrain control module (PCM) sends open/close requests which depends on the driving conditions to the shutter grille via the local interconnect network (LIN) line. If the shutter grille actuator detects the shutter grille system as stuck and the condition continues even if the initial learning is retried for a specified time, the PCM confirms the abnormality and stores a DTC.
