Removal and Installation

  1. Vehicle - Lift
  2. Rear wheels - Remove (AWD model)
  3. Exhaust Pipe and Muffler - Remove (AWD model)
  4. Propeller Shaft - Remove (AWD model)
  5. EVAP Canister Assembly - Remove

    1. AWD model: Place a transmission jack (A) under the rear differential (B).

    2. AWD model: Remove the rear differential rear mount bolt (C) and the rear differential front mounting bracket bolts (D).

    3. AWD model: Lower the transmission jack and rear differential about 1.18 in (30 mm).

    NOTE:  Be careful not to damage the connecting parts.

    4. Disconnect the quick-connect fitting

    (A) and the hoses (B).

    5. Disconnect the connectors (C).

    6. Remove the EVAP canister assembly (A) from the front side.
  6. EVAP Canister - Disassembly

    1. Remove the EVAP canister vent shut valve (A).

    2. Remove the FTP sensor 

    (B).

  7. All Removed Parts - Install
    1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with new O-rings.
