Symptom	Diagnostic procedure	Also check for
Engine does not crank	Starter system circuit troubleshooting .	Seized engine
Engine cranks, but does not start	Check for PGM-FI DTCs . Check the PGM-FI main relay 1 and the PGM-FI main relay 2 . Check for keyless access system symptom troubleshooting information . Check the fuel pressure . Check for a plugged or damaged fuel line . Check for a plugged fuel filter . Check the throttle body . Check for low engine compression . Check the camshaft timing . Do the PCM reset in the PGM-FI System to cancel ALL INJECTORS STOP with the HDS.	Fuel level in tank Weak or fouled spark plugs
Engine is hard to start	Do the symptom troubleshooting for Engine will not start, engine starts but stalls immediately, or engine is hard to start .	Weak or fouled spark plugs
Engine cranks slowly	Check for loose 12 volt battery terminals or connections. Test the 12 volt battery for a low state of charge . Check the starter for binding . Check for excessive drag in the engine.
