• Troubleshoot any DTCs listed or indicated systems below first.
  • Keyless Access System [ Keyless Access Control Unit ], [ Backup Control Unit ], [ Power Control Unit ] : Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting .

For more efficient troubleshooting, you may be able to eliminate some inspection items as potential failures based on the conditions of the failure and vehicle.

• Select the HDS [ History Data ].
• Select HISTORY CLEAR, and back to TEST MODE MENU.
• Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
• Touch the engine start/stop switch with the keyless remote. The buttons on the keyless remote should be facing you.
• Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
• Select the HDS [ History Data ].
• Do the HDS [ ENGINE START/STOP SWITCH 1 (+) ], [ ENGINE START/STOP SWITCH 2 (-) ].
