Keyless Buzzer Circuit Troubleshooting: Inspection
SMART_BUZZER, GND Circuit Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- Keyless buzzer connector (3P) : disconnected
- Body control module connector B (66P) : disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
(Disconnected) Keyless buzzer connector (3P) female terminals (Disconnected) Body control module connector B (66P) female terminals IG Mode Normal Conditions SMART_BUZZER open wire inspection OFF There is less than 1 Ohm GND open wire inspection OFF There is less than 1 Ohm
Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.SMART_BUZZER shorted to ground inspection OFF There is more than 1 MOhm
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
Keyless Buzzer Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, troubleshooting is performed using a known-good component.
Test Procedure
- Install a known-good keyless buzzer and attempt to reproduce the failure.
Results
- If the failure is reproduced, there is a problem with other related components.
- If the symptom/DTC goes away, the keyless buzzer must be faulty.
Body Control Module Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item (s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining body control module is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the body control module.
