Keyless Access System Symptom Troubleshooting - Cannot select ON mode with keyless access, but can select ON mode with the keyless remote touching the engine start/stop switch: Inspection

SS1(+), SS2(-) Open Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  1. -

     Engine start/stop switch connector (10P): disconnected

  2. -

     Body control module connector C (66P): disconnected

• Procedure
  1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

			(Disconnected) Engine start/stop switch connector (10P) female terminals	(Disconnected)Body control module connector C (66P) female terminals

	SS1(+) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	SS2(-) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Body Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining body control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the body control module.
