Blind Spot Information (BSI) System Learning Value Reset: Procedure
NOTE: When the learning value is reset, the detection range returns to 3 m (10 ft), and the detection range is not expanded until the automatic learning while driving is completed.
The learning value reset must be performed whenever you do any of these actions or the DTCs are stored.
- After removing and reinstalling one or both of the BSI radar units.
- After repairing the rear panel where the BSI radar unit mounts.
- When any of the following DTCs are stored:

NOTE: Headlights should be turned off.
1. Select the following menu buttons on the HDS screen in sequence.
- Driving Support (System Selection Menu)
- Blind Spot Information
- Adjustment
- Learning Value Reset
2. Perform the learning value reset with HDS.
3. Confirm the learning value reset completion on the HDS.
4. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
