DTC Advanced Diagnostics: P26C3: General Description
| Input signal | State of the switch | |
|---|---|---|
| PinSW1 | PinSW2 | |
| Lo | Lo | PinSW ON |
| Lo | Hi | During switch operation or single switch failure |
| Hi | Lo | |
| Hi | Hi | PinSW OFF |
The transmission control module (TCM) and the SBW shifter control module (integrated with the SBW shifter assembly) are connected with a communication line (PF-CAN A and PF-CAN C). For shift position switching control, the shift position signal from the SBW shifter control module via PF-CAN C is used for main signal, and the shift position signal from the SBW shifter control module via PF-CAN A is used for back-up signal. When PinSW1 and PinSW2 input signal logic do not match (PinSW1 ON and PinSW2 OFF or PinSW1 OFF and PinSW2 ON) during accelerations and decelerations, or input information from the switch input circuit is abnormal while shifting to R, N, or D switch, the TCM receives malfunction from the SBW shifter control module, and stores a DTC.
