DTC Troubleshooting: B108A, B108B, B1090, B1092 (Relay Control Module): Inspection

SMALL_R Shorted Wire Inspection - For DTC B108A 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Relay control module connector B (10P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

    Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

			(Disconnected) Relay control module connector B (10P) female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	SMALL_R shorted to ground inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MOhms

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
• If normal, there is a problem with the relay control module.

SMALL_L Shorted Wire Inspection - For DTC B108B 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Relay control module connector A (8P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

    Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

			(Disconnected) Relay control module connector A (8P) female terminals

	SMALL_L shorted to ground inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MOhms

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
• If normal, there is a problem with the relay control module.

ILLUMI+ Shorted Wire Inspection - For DTC B1090 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Relay control module connector B (10P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

			(Disconnected) Relay control module connector B (10P) female terminals

	ILLUMI+ shorted to ground inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MOhms

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
• If normal, there is a problem with the relay control module.

INTR_LT_CUT_RLY_OUT Shorted Wire Inspection - For DTC B1092 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Relay control module connector A (8P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

	INTR_LT_CUT_RLY_OUT shorted to ground inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MOhms

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
