Malfunction Threshold

One of these symptoms occurs:

• (Case.1)The engine speed < 2761 rpm:
  • When the fuel pressure rise to 37 MPa is detected, the time required for the fuel pressure to drop from 31 MPa to 13 MPa is less than a specified value.
• (Case.2)The engine speed ≥ 2761 rpm:
  • 1st Detection: When the fuel pressure rise to 37 MPa is detected, if the time required for the fuel pressure to drop from 31 MPa to 13 MPa is less than a specified value, the process shifts to 2nd detection.
  • After the fuel pressure drops, if the time of 13.4 MPa or less is more than the time of over 13.4 MPa within 500 msec
