VOUT_FR_DR, TS_FR_DR, DL_FR_DR, GND Circuit Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- Driver's door control unit connector C (32P): disconnected
- Driver's door outer handle connector (4P): disconnected
- Body control module connector C (66P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, troubleshooting is performed using a known-good component.
Test Procedure
- Install a known-good driver's door outer handle and attempt to reproduce the failure.
Results
- If the failure is reproduced, there is a problem with other related components.
- If the symptom/DTC goes away, the driver's door outer handle must be faulty.
Front Passenger's Door Outer Handle Inspection
NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, troubleshooting is performed using a known-good component.
Test Procedure
- Install a known-good front passenger's door outer handle and attempt to reproduce the failure.
Results
- If the failure is reproduced, there is a problem with other related components.
- If the symptom/DTC goes away, the front passenger's door outer handle must be faulty.
Left Rear Door Outer Handle Inspection
NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, troubleshooting is performed using a known-good component.
Test Procedure
- Install a known-good left rear door outer handle and attempt to reproduce the failure.
Results
- If the failure is reproduced, there is a problem with other related components.
- If the symptom/DTC goes away, the left rear door outer handle must be faulty.
Right Rear Door Outer Handle Inspection
NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, troubleshooting is performed using a known-good component.
Test Procedure
- Install a known-good right rear door outer handle and attempt to reproduce the failure.
Results
- If the failure is reproduced, there is a problem with other related components.
- If the symptom/DTC goes away, the right rear door outer handle must be faulty.
Driver's Door Control Unit Inspection
NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, troubleshooting is performed using a known-good component.
Test Procedure
- Install a known-good driver's door control unit and attempt to reproduce the failure.
Results
- If the failure is reproduced, there is a problem with other related components.
- If the symptom/DTC goes away, the driver's door control unit must be faulty.
Body Control Module Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining body control module is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the body control module.
