- EVAP Two Way Valve - Test 1
Preconditions
Procedure/Specifications
1. Connect the EVAP two way valve (a), a T-fitting (b), the vacuum/pressure gauge, 0-4 inHg, and the vacuum pump/gauge, 0-30 inHg, as shown in illustration.
2. Apply vacuum slowly and continuously while watching the gauge.
Specifications
Condition Specification Below 1.33 kPa (10.0 mmHg, 0.393 inHg) Vacuum held Result
- If it is abnormal, replace the EVAP two way valve .
- EVAP Two Way Valve - Test 2
Preconditions
- "EVAP Two Way Valve - Test 1" is completed and has tested normal.
- EVAP Canister Assembly Removed
Procedure/Specifications
1. Connect the EVAP two way valve (a), a T-fitting (b), the vacuum/pressure gauge, 0-4 inHg, and the vacuum pump/gauge, 0-30 inHg, as shown in illustration.
2. Slowly pressurize the vapor line while watching the gauge.

Condition Specification Below 4.54-5.60 kPa (34.1-42.0 mmHg, 1.341-1.654 inHg) Pressure held Result
- If it is abnormal, replace the EVAP two way valve .
