EXT_M+, EXT_M- Shorted Wire Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation
- Rear interior LF antenna connector (2P): disconnected
- Body control module connector C (66P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

| EXT_M+ shorted to ground inspection | OFF | There is more than 1 MOhms | ||
| EXT_M- shorted to ground inspection | OFF | There is more than 1 MOhms | ||
Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
Body Control Module Inspection
Preconditions
NOTE: This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.
- External circuit is normal

- Preparation
- Body control module connector C (66P): connected
- Rear interior LF antenna connector (2P): disconnected
- Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

*1: If the matter whether the vehicle mode ON or OFF (LOCK) because of the permanent power supply.
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the body control module.
Rear Interior LF Antenna Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining rear interior LF antenna is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the rear interior LF antenna.
