Installation Procedure

- Press the lower insulator (3) into the engine frame. Refer to Figure.
- Install the upper insulator (2).
- Lubricate the lower portion of the spacer (1).
- Press the spacer (1) into the lower insulator (3)
- Lower the body to the engine frame (5).CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the retainer (4) and the bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the insulator bolts to 191 N.m (141 lb ft).
- Test drive the vehicle in order to ensure there are no performance issues.
