Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM Vehicles Cautions & Notices.

Install the lateral accelerometer sensor (1).
Install the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor mounting screws (3). Tighten: Tighten the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor mounting screws to 2.4 N.m (21 lb in).
Connect the lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (2).
Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT - REAR in Seats.
Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - ABS .
