Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right closeout panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT In Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Remove the dash integration module (DIM) from the bracket and position aside.
  4. Remove the rear DIM bracket screws and lower the bracket enough to access the blower motor control processor.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

  6. Remove the blower motor control processor retaining screws.
  7. Remove the blower motor control processor.
