Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the antenna extension to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the coaxial cable connectors (2).
  3. Install the cable clips (1) to the instrument panel support.
  4. Insert the cable connector into the retainer in the radio cavity.
  5. Install the upper instrument panel trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  6. Install the radio. Refer to RADIO REPLACEMENT (W/O UM8)  or RADIO REPLACEMENT (W UM8)  .
  7. Install the right side windshield garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - WINDSHIELD PILL in Interior Trim.
