Installation Procedure

  1. Align the radio with the center stack and mounting holes.

  3. Connect the electrical connectors and the antenna connectors from the rear of the radio.

  5. Install the bolts that hold the radio to the instrument panel center stack.
  6. Align the trim panel instrument panel center to instrument panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  7. Align and move the forward center console in place with the center console bracket. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  8. Perform the radio setup, if equipped with UM8 - Refer to Radio Setup (With RPO UM8) . For all other audio system configuration, refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in Programming for setup.
