Removal Procedure

Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the wheel speed sensor retaining bolt.

IMPORTANT: If a shim was removed when the wheel speed sensor was removed, it must be reinstalled to ensure proper operation.

Remove the wheel speed sensor and shim if present.
