Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor retaining bolt.
    4. IMPORTANT: If a shim was removed when the wheel speed sensor was removed, it must be reinstalled to ensure proper operation.
  4. Remove the wheel speed sensor and shim if present.
