Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the multifunction turn signal switch housing over the steering column shaft.
    NOTE: Notice: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the 2 multifunction turn signal switch housing bolts.
  3. Tighten the bolts to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).
  4. Install the turn signal multifunction switch. Refer to Turn Signal Multifunction Switch Replacement  .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR DISABLING AND ENABLING in SIR.
