Installation Procedure

  1. Insert a new seal into the intake manifold groove.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Throttle Body Assembly

  2. Position the throttle control module (2) to the intake manifold.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the throttle control module bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the throttle control module electrical connector (2).

  5. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe (1) to the throttle control module (2). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  6. Install the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement .
