Removal Procedure

- Remove the front drive axle, if equipped. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement (2WD, Z85, ZQ8) .
- Before removing the bushing, measure and record the distance from the bushing flange to the bracket. This will be the distance that the new bushing will be installed to.
- Using the J 41805 (1), remove the rear bushing. See Special Tools .
