Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump inlet hose (1) quick connect fitting from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
    2. Fig 2: Removing/Installing Air Injection (AIR) Pump Inlet & Outlet Hoses

  2. Disconnect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting (1) from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Remove the AIR pump inlet hose from the vehicle.
