Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump outlet hose quick connect fitting from the AIR check valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Disconnect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting (2) from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Remove the AIR pump outlet hose from the vehicle.
