Diode Assembly
- Check each diode with ohmmeter in both directions. If diodes show large resistance in one direction and no resistance in the other direction, diodes are normal. See Fig 1.
- If diode shows small resistance in both directions, diode is shorted. If large resistance is shown in both directions, diode is open. If any diode is defective, replace complete rectifier assembly.
