Distributor: Testing and Inspection

REMOVAL

1. Remove the battery ground cable.





2. Remove the two crankshaft position sensor mounting bolts.
3. Pull out the crankshaft position sensor from cylinder head.

INSTALLATION

1. Turn the crankshaft so that the No. 1 cylinder is at top dead center.





2. Align the punch mark on the crankshaft position sensor housing with the notch in plate.
3. Install the crankshaft position sensor on the cylinder head.
4. Adjust ignition timing.
