Diode Assembly
- Check each diode with ohmmeter in both directions as indicated in illustration. See Fig 1. If diodes show high resistance in one direction and no resistance in the other direction, diodes are normal.
- If diode shows low resistance in both directions, diode is shorted. If high resistance is shown in both directions, diode is open. If any diode is defective, replace complete rectifier assembly.
