Diode Assembly

  1. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between each rectifier and stator coil lead terminal, in both directions. Perform STEP 1 and STEP 2. See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist in only one direction. If continuity of any rectifier(s) is not as specified, replace entire diode assembly.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check continuity of each diode, in both directions. Perform STEP 3. See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist in only one direction. If continuity of any diode(s) is not as specified, replace entire diode assembly.
