DTC P0133 - Front O2S Circuit Slow Response

  1. Install scan tool. Start engine and check if DTC P0133 is present. If DTC is present, go to next step. If DTC is not present, problem is intermittent.
  2. Using scan tool, check lean/rich period. Scan tool display should read less than 2.6S. If reading is as specified, go to next step. If reading is not as specified, replace front O2S.
  3. Clear DTC. See CLEARING DTC(S)  . Retest system. If DTC resets, replace ECM.
