Power Windows: Operation

Battery voltage is applied to power window relay when ignition switch is in RUN position through fuse No. 16 (10-amp), located in passenger compartment fuse panel. When relay is energized, battery voltage is supplied, by way of Pink fusible link (30-amp) in engine compartment relay box, to the power switch assembly through relay's closed contacts. When either switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the respective power window motor. The power window motor is grounded through the opposite contact in the switch assembly.
