DTC P0326: Knock Sensor (KS) Range: Notes
NOTE:
During engine operation, knocking vibrations from the cylinder block are applied as pressure to knock sensor's piezoelectric element. Knock sensor converts vibration pressure into a voltage signal. ECM uses this signal to suppress engine knock by retarding ignition timing. Ensure knock sensor is tightened to 12-19 ft. lbs. (16-26 N.m). An improperly tightened sensor can cause a faulty signal.
