DTC P0326: Knock Sensor Circuit Range: Notes
NOTE:
During engine operation, knocking vibrations from the cylinder block are applied as pressure to Knock Sensor's (KS) piezoelectric element. Knock sensor converts vibration pressure into a voltage signal. ECM uses this signal to suppress engine knock by retarding ignition timing. Ensure knock sensor is tightened to 11-18 ft. lbs. (15-25 N.m). An improperly tightened sensor can cause a faulty signal.
