Other Control Functions
The ECM controls the fuel pump relay, A/C compressor clutch operation, radiator and condenser fan speeds, evaporative emission purge control and EGR solenoid operation.
NOTE:
Components are grouped into 2 categories. First category is INPUT DEVICES , which are components that control or produce signals monitored by the ECM. The second category is OUTPUT SIGNALS , which are components controlled by the ECM.
