Crankshaft Position Sensor

The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located at the left side of the block, near the flywheel on Santa Fe 2.7L and Sonata 2.7L, next to crankshaft pulley on all other models. The ECM uses voltage signal from the CKP sensor to detect engine RPM and crankshaft position.
