Front Door Glass

NOTE: When glass is fully closed, glass edge must be parallel to roof section weatherstrip, and stopper catches must make contact simultaneously.
  1. Check for a flush fit between front and rear doors, fender and body. Ensure there is an equal and parallel gap between door edges and body. Measure front window glass and door clearances. See Fig 1 . If window glass clearances are not as specified, go to next step.
  2. Using adjusting bolt, adjust front door front glass channel until distance between door front channel and door inner panel is 0.39" (9.9 mm). See Fig 2 . Tighten front glass channel mounting nuts to 78-121 INCH lbs. (9-14 N.m).
  3. Adjust window regulator by until distance between regulator and door inner panel is 0.47" (12.1 mm). See Fig 3 . Tighten regulator upper and lower mounting nuts to 78-121 INCH lbs. (9-14 N.m).
  4. Adjust front and rear stabilizers until window glass clearances are as specified. See Fig 1 . Tighten stabilizer nuts to 78-121 INCH lbs. (9-14 N.m).
