DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • No Activity Detected (Stuck)
  • Poor connection
  • Air leakage
  • Incorrect fuel pressure
  • Faulty HO2S
  • Faulty PCM
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed > 1500 RPM
  • Vehicle Speed > 30 km/h (18.6 mph)
Threshold value
  • The difference between maximum of rear oxygen sensor and minimum < 0.078V
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • Engine Coolant > 75°C (167°F)
  • Load Value > 30%
  • Fuel Cut On
Threshold value
  • The difference between maximum of rear oxygen sensor and minimum: 0.078~0.3V
  • Output voltage of rear oxygen sensor with 15% A/F enrichment > 0.5V
  • Output voltage of rear oxygen sensor with 15% A/F enrichment < 0.45V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
