DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Resistance of sensor (Rats) is monitored
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to ground IAT sensor circuit
  • Faulty IATS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Time after cranking: 2 sec
Threshold value
  • Resistance, Rars < 0.09 kΩ (0.195V)
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
