General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Resistance of sensor (Rats) is monitored
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to battery in IAT sensor circuit
  • Faulty IATS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Time after cranking > 2 sec
Threshold value
  • Resistance, Rats is greater than or equal to 50 kΩ (4.57V)
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
