DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Out voltage and change fuel-level voltage (change in VFLI) is monitored
  • Faulty Fuel Level Sensor
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than or equal to 10V
  • After start > 10 sec
Threshold value
  • Output voltage: 0.02-4.90V
  • Change in V (FLI) for 500 sec (Vs > 0) < 0.039V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
