General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Output voltage is monitored (Low stick).
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to battery in Fuel Level Sensor (FLS) circuit
  • Faulty FLS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than or equal to 10V
  • Time after start > 10 sec.
Threshold value
  • Output voltage for 300 sec when Vehicle speed does not equal 0 is less than or equal to 0.039V & Output voltage is greater than or equal to 4.96V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
