DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Temperature shifting is monitored during warming up
  • Poor connection
  • Faulty ECT Sensor
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed > 1500 rpm
  • Load value > 10%
  • Engine coolant > -7°C (19.4°F)
Threshold value
  • maximum value of water temperature - minimum value of water temperature < 1°C (1.8°F))
Diagnosis Time
  • 300 sec (cumulative)
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
