DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • TPS2 Low Voltage
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to ground in TPS circuit
  • Faulty TPS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch "ON"
Threshold value
  • Target voltage of TPS < 2.0V
  • Output voltage of TPS2 < 1.0V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
