DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • TPS1 High Input
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to battery in TPS circuit
  • Faulty TPS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch: ON
Threshold value
  • Vtps2 is greater than or equal to 2.5V
  • Vtps1 is greater than or equal to 4.85V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
