General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Output voltage is monitored (High stuck).
  • Open or Short to ground in Fuel Level Sensor (FLS) circuit
  • Faulty Fuel Level Sensor
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is greater than or equal to 10V
  • Time after start > 10 sec.
Threshold value
  • Output voltage for 300 sec when Vehicle speed does not equal 0 is less than or equal to 0.039V & Output voltage is less than or equal to 0.02V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
