DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring abnormal APS property
  • Poor connection
  • Faulty Acceleration Position Sensor (APS)
  • Faulty ETS unit
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • 0.2V < voltage of APS1 < 4.5V
  • 0.2V < voltage of APS2 < 4.5V
  • Ignition switch "ON"
Threshold value
  • The absolute value of (APS1-APS2) is greater than or equal to 1V
  • Change in Vaps1/25 ms < 0.5V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
