DTC P0108: Map Sensor Range Check High: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
Monitoring Strategy
  • Signal check, high
  • Open in signal circuit
  • Short to battery in signal circuit (pin 33 to 37)
  • Open in ground circuit
  • Poor connection of MAP sensor
  • Faulty MAP sensor
  • Faulty PCM
Threshold value
  • Sensor voltage: > 4.88V
Enable Conditions
  • 1 sec after engine start
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 sec
Fail Safe
  • MAP value is substituted by MAP'S model value.
  • TPS limp home mode.
  • Engine speed limitation.
  • Minimum operation of EVAP control.
