Control Circuit Inspection

Check for short to power in harness
1. Ignition "OFF"
2. Disconnect INJ connector.
3. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF"
4. Measure voltage between terminal 2 of sensor harness connector and chassis ground..
  Specification: below 0.5V

5. Is measure voltage within Specification?
  YES
  - Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
  NO
  - Short circuit to battery power 12V between injector harness connector and control relay.
  - Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    NOTE: In case the voltage of terminal 2 is measured 12V when the connector is disconnected.
    Suspect area: Short to battery power line after fuse (15A for injector) when IG on.
